Position Overview:
As a Personal Lines Account Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our personal lines clients. You’ll manage policies, address client inquiries, process changes, and provide exceptional customer service. This role is ideal for someone with a keen attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping people protect what matters most.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary liaison for clients regarding their personal insurance needs (auto, home, umbrella, etc.)
- Provide policy guidance, process endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and renewals
- Review and explain coverage options and insurance documents clearly and accurately
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in the agency management system
- Collaborate with producers and carriers to resolve billing or claims concerns
- Proactively reach out to clients for renewals and coverage reviews
- Cross-sell and upsell products when appropriate to meet client needs
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of insurance experience preferred
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Proficiency in computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Commitment to professionalism and customer satisfaction
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
